The district centre will extend to some 32,635 sq ft with 134 car parking spaces anchored by a 21,118 sq ft Lidl foodstore with the development due to open in Q1 2027.

The remainder of the scheme comprises 3 retail units of circa 1,410 sq ft each together with a children's nursery of 7,266 sq ft over 2 floors. We have instructed solicitors with occupiers for the Children's Nursery, Units 1 & 3. The last remaining unit is therefore Unit 2.

Alternative uses such as dental surgery, veterinary surgery would be considered.

The unit will be available by way of new FRI lease at a rental of £35,000 pax.

Glan Llyn is a comprehensive mixed use scheme situated 2 miles east of Newport City Centre on the site of the former Llanwern Steelworks. The overall site covers some 600 acres, delivering approximately 4000 new homes, 100 acres of business park, primary schools and a new local centre. To date approximately 1700 new homes have been developed with a further 900 new homes committed.
